13 Reasons Why | Graphic Art for Set Decoration

13 Reasons Why is a Netflix hit series from Paramount Pictures. I had the opportunity to be a set decoration assistant on the second season, where my main job was to create posters for the high school & various posters in other locations. It was a rare opportunity, especially as a production assistant, that the team let me have a lot of creative freedom and I could not be any more grateful.

I either hand drawn the posters or used photoshop to create these posters for a more authentic feel:

The overall goal was to develop posters/paper texture that reflected the location: For example, the high school location should have amateur/student aesthetics for some posters, but at the same time, other posters should maintain an educational/professionalism aesthetic, which may have been purchased by teachers.

Due to the nature of the film industry, I created these assets within a very quick turnaround, where I needed to rough draft, make and print within a span of either one day or even within a couple of hours.

The assets featured in the show, are only a handful of the quantity of artwork I created during the production dates of 13 Reasons Why Season 2.
