A self negotiated brief as part of my final major project at Staffordshire University, The Student Travel Guide encourages students to travel even though they may be restricted to a budget. The guides showcases 10 reasons why a student should be visiting each city with a range of tourism hotspots including a brief description about each area, how to get there and how much it is as well as four 'cheap eat' locations.
Each travel guide is influenced by a colour which reflects each city; Amsterdam is red to correspond with the city's flag and the infamous Red Light District, New York is yellow which links to the iconic New York taxi and Barcelona is pink inspired by the colours of the architecture. To add to the travel aesthetic each cover features a tipped-in page inspired by a plane ticket. The covers also include a fold-out map which showcases the nearest station to each location.
The guides are inspired by my own travel experiences from 2018 and features my own photography (and others).
