The finale of the cup-man series ends here. Cupman, finally alone, or so he thinks, hides from the storm of night under his tiny baby umbrella. This one I wanted to do different shades of one color but my marker for the darker tones had died so, I had to figure something else out. It was a little disappointing but the artist must be quick to adapt to his or her surroundings. I tried doing something different with this piece, I wanted it to have a messier feel, like an organized chaos almost. I feel like one mental block that has been holding me back was my focus on having things be perfect. Mostly with the lineart and colors. I wanted something more free flowing, if that makes sense. I wish I could have added more value tho because it feels flat, but not much I can do with a dead marker :c
I also really enjoyed playing around with ink in this piece, it was my main focus here and I really love the black moon/sun circle close to the black hoop of gooopiness.
