A Coinpel é a empresa de informática do município, responsável por prestar serviços na área da tecnologia da informação e telecomunicações à Prefeitura de Pelotas. A nova marca tem a sua construção a partir de símbolos conhecidos da informática, das suas interfaces e do universo da tecnologia — o sistema binário e o pixel. O símbolo é mesclado à sigla da companhia e tem como finalidade transmitir ao público a essência da empresa e o seu trabalho de forma simples e direta.

Coinpel is the city's IT company, responsible for providing information technology and telecommunications services to Pelotas City Hall. The new brand is built from well-known computer symbols, its interfaces and the world of technology — the binary system and the pixel. The symbol is merged with the company's initials and aims to convey to the public the essence of the company and its work in a simple and direct way.
