I liked this book cover of Hamlet.

   The purpose of a book cover is to draw the reader in, to interest them in what the book has to offer.

   A good book cover is one that is simple yet detailed and colorful yet subtle.

A book cover should have: Title, Author, Publisher, Barcode, etc

These are my original ideas for a book cover as you can see in the final result I combined two or three into a ultimate design.

These were some of my first designs in Illustrator and Photoshop, you can see that they are rushed and sloppy but in my final design I took my time and Made everything crisp and clear.

This is my Final design! I took some significant objects from the story and turned them into symbols that represent the Norse Mythology Theme. I design the axe and the sword as 2 major objects and I took time on the typography. The publisher and barcode are appropriate to the specific book and I think it came out great.
