Olga Stoycheva and I took part in the yearly Young Cannes Lions Competition, in the category - Short Movie.
The topic was Gender Equality. As always we had exactly two days for brainstorming, shooting, and editing.
The message we wanted to say was: She is equal, and this is no longer an illusion. That's how came the idea to use a perspective illusion which shows one of the figures smaller in the first moment. As she is moving forward it becomes clear that this has been only an optical illusion.
The Stop Motion technic came naturally to help visualize our message.
