Domestic Violence Awareness Training

The County of Los Angeles is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees. This eLearning module is intended to support this commitment by leveraging eLearning to extend the reach of existing in-person domestic violence awareness training.

In the first month since its launch, the course has already exceeded the last ten year’s number of participants three times over. With the potential to directly reach those impacted by domestic violence and connect them with available services, this project provides a medium for significant social impact.

This Domestic Violence Awareness training includes insightful interviews with subject matter experts from multiple agencies across Los Angeles County to help employees understand the various forms of domestic violence, who is impacted, how it can affect the workplace, how to support potential survivors, and how to obtain help through a wide range of local services and resources.

Graphics were created and edited in Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator CC. Videos were edited and delivered using Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Media Encoder. The eLearning project was authored and compiled using Adobe Captivate 2019.
