#MyDailyBeater is a shoe that’s worn without care, usually a shoe that i wear all the time. This is also the same shoe i don’t mind getting stepped on, scuffed, or dirty!
Vans Old Skool
.
Debuted under the name “Style 36” back in 1977, the Vans Old Skool skate shoe is today among the brand’s most famous silhouettes.
.
11 years after the Van Doren brothers launched Vans with the #44 deck shoe (Vans Authentic), Paul Van Doren came up with the idea to create a new shoe that marked Vans’ first departure from their signature deck shoe.
.
While idly doodling one day, Paul Van Doren came up with a sketch of what he originally referred to as the “jazz stripe”. Mr Van Doren decided to incorporate this stripe into the design of a new shoe, and with that the Vans sidestripe was born.
Vans Authentic
.
On March 16, 1966, at 704 East Broadway in Anaheim, California, brothers Paul Van Doren and James Van Doren, Gordon C Lee, and Serge D'Elia opened the first Vans store under the name The Van Doren Rubber Company.
.
The business manufactured shoes and sold them directly to the public. On that first morning, twelve customers purchased Vans deck shoes, which are now known as AUTHENTIC.
.
The Vans Authentic features an ultra simple, low-profile silhouette that is dominated by its thick rubber outsole and and clean canvas, wool or leather upper.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star
.
Chuck Taylor All-Stars is a model of casual shoe manufactured by Converse that was initially developed as a "basketball shoe" in the early 20th century.
.
When Chuck Taylor asked the company to create a better shoe with more support and flexibility. After Converse added Taylor's signature to the ankle patch they became known as Chuck Taylor All Stars
.
The design of the Chuck Taylor All Star has remained largely unchanged since its introduction in the 1920s.
Converse Jack Purcell
.
John Edward "Jack" Purcell (December 24, 1903 – June 10, 1991) was a Canadian world champion badminton player.
.
Purcell was the Canadian National Badminton Champion in 1929 and 1930 and declared as world champion in 1933. He retired in 1945, and pursued a career as a stockbroker.
.
Purcell also designed an athletic shoe that bears his name, which is still popular today.
