I was participating in #Perth's Startup Weekend, Australia. This 54-hour event built amazing #business ideas. Our team, Grain Worx included 6 people from 3 countries, with 3 different skillsets - 2 Farmers, 2 Designers, and 2 Developers. We immediately created a great, real #connection.

We didn't come up with any new problem. We came up with a solution for the already existing serious social issue.

Our initial customer is The #Farming Coop - a group of 4000 farmers with over 8 Billion dollars in revenue, but a lack of Transparency and Accountability in their elected positions. After our research and interviews with Australian farmers, we realized that the best solution to this problem is a communication platform that adequately addresses the problems faced by most community groups.

So we've built it… during the weekend. Our Platform streamlines elections, makes the entire process super transparent while allowing community members to give direct feedback to their elected officials. And hopefully, this is not the end. We are very motivated to continue our work, we'll see what's gonna happen. We will update you about our next steps for sure!
