School for the Excluded

School for the Excluded: MArch 01 - Final Project

Site Location: An old rugby playing field on the bank of the River Trent, Nottingham.
Project Background: Nottingham, statistically, has a high number of unemployed. This needs to change, and by focusing on younger children, we may be able to help bring this figure down in the future. ‘Troubled’ children are the most vulnerable in the mainstream education system. Being carelessly forgotten and being left uneducated. By focusing on this select few, the proposal can begin to teach family values that have been missed through their upbringing and help renter them into mainstream education.
