The mission was to create a takeaway that exemplifies our design and personality to give
out to visitors at our table at the 2019 Graphic Design showcase. My concept was an
interactive takeaway that is fun and colorful on which I can showcase illustration.
By choosing something interactive that encourages the receiver to participate in its creation,
I was hoping to take advantage of the "Ikea Effect", a phenomenon in which consumers place a
higher value on things they partially had a hand in creating. If people spend more time
interacting with my takeaway, this will hopefully leave a more lasting impression.
Each packet includes four unique finger puppets, one already folded to show what the
end result would look like, and three for you to fold as well as an instruction card with
contact information, and a hashtag to encourage sharing and connection.
