Public Sector UX Design on a Budget

Project: User Experience Design on a Budget
This public sector client had an aggressive discovery and implementation budget and timeline to launch a website showcasing an important public health-related initiative and providing citizens information for how to access the program’s offerings. The discovery and design effort involved collaboration with the client to understand existing sites partially covering relevant content, user research to understand priorities and barriers to accessing help, wireframes and design for content architecture and navigation.

Deliverable 1: Personas
This is one of several personas defined and developed to guide content strategy and prioritize features and content within the site.
Deliverable 2: Low-fi Wireframes
This low-fidelity wireframe was one of multiple generated to define general layout and function, in this case associated with the site homepage, and served as the basis for full mock-ups and implementation.
Other deliverables: User surveys and analysis of results, content architecture
