Final leaf

Analysis of elements used in leaf mark

Exploration of leaf mark used as a logo. Created a fictional skin-care line called "Magnolia" in reference to the name of the original leaf that inspired the design.

Digital photographs of leaves. The final leaf mark was inspired by the leaf in the first row, specifically the 3rd photo.

Graphite drawings drawin from the previous digital photographs. This step helped explore the anatomy and detail of the leaves.

Explorations of abstractions. Experimented with the use of shape, line, and texture.

Explorations done in Adobe Illustrator. Final version was a combination of the top two studies.
