Moving Image Museum

Moving Image Museum is the rebranding of New York's Museum of the Moving Image. This case study closely examines the demographic and how to broaden its reach.
Existing architecture was used as inspiration for the rebranding. The simple 4x5' windows on the museum's old wing were used as a grid for letterform movement and structure. A Sans Serif block type was chosen to reflect the modernity of Leeser's expansion.
In various print and advertising campaigns, the .Mov logo interacts with static and digital images to enhance the experience of a museum dedicated to moving image. The logo is versatile and driven by campaigns and artwork.

Initial wire frames for the new website.
