Branding for Hannah Posey, a lifestyle and couples photographer in northern California. 

The Objective

Create a brand identity for Hannah that reflects her values as a photographer and helps her market to potential clients. Hannah has a high value for capturing couples in authentic moments. Her goal is to show the unposed, raw, sometimes messy beauty of the people she works with. Hannah wanted a brand that emphasized this value and accentuated the natural beauty of her photography. 

The Solution

The inspiration for this brand came from the element of nature that is present in so many of Hannah's photos. The logo depicts a wild flower breaking out of a frame—referencing the raw, unposed moments that Hannah aims to capture with her clients. The logo pairs with a palette of earth-tone colors and minimal typography, allowing her photos to be the main focus. The full brand consisted of business and thank you cards, a wedding guide for clients, and social media guidelines and assets.
