I was one of ten artists to participate in the second annual Mural Fest for South Salt Lake City's Creative Industries Zone. I was paired with a local business, who donated their wall for the festival. I worked with Klay, the owner of Gustin Hydraulics to compile a list of positive phrases to consider. We ultimately came up with “Change starts with you”, which was inspired by the quote from Ghandi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” The artwork was made digitally and then hand painted with rollers and brushes. Our intention behind this piece is to remind viewers that each one of us is capable of making a difference in our lives and others.
