Best Buy Rebrand Announcement
The Link special issue with logo history tear-sheet
I completely rebuilt this issue of the The Link from the ground up, in accordance in the new brand guidelines. The purpose was to announce the changes to employees all around the country, and showcase what this new visual identity was all about. The simple, clear, "Swiss" style of design was a radical shift from prior issues, so I leaned heavily into that style to put extra emphasis on this difference. The tear sheet included a history of the company logos. The oldest logos were actually discovered by me after digging through heaps of boxes from the company archives in the basement. Eventually, I found some old newspapers with high enough quality versions to scan and rebuild the logos manually with the pen tool in Abode Illustrator to bring them back to life!

As a part of the rebranding team, also included here are other examples of projects I spearheaded that highlighted the new visual identity.

The Link – New branding 1-year anniversary issue
This issue dove heavily back into brand-centric content as well aesthetic to commemorate the one year anniversary of the original announcement. I spearheaded the creative components of the publication.
