An Unfinished Punishment

An Unfinished Punishment is a fictional novel about a high school student, Daniel Lewis, who discovers a diary of a girl killed ten years earlier by one of the high school faculty and uses the words of the diary to understand why such a talented student would commit suicide. It is through Amy’s words that Daniel is able to see the world in different perspectives, those of Amy and of the people around her. In trying to understand Amy’s death, Daniel discovers the filthy secret behind Amy’s death. Throughout the novel, Daniel begins to question everything he has ever known, questioning about some of the most important issues such as life and death,
society’s expectation and rules, and as he comes to understand Amy, he is able to find his identity as well.

This book cover is created for a three-dimensional type project, which was shot in a lighting studio onto an actual diary of Bruce Johnston and letters are cut paper.
