Clever Kash is a cashless money box, designed to teach children the principle of savings and keeping savings tangible in an increasingly cashless society.
Clever Kash interacts with the ASB mobile app to seamlessly swipe virtual money from the parents to the children account. Transactions are displayed on the LCD screens in the elephants tummy. The idea of Clever Kash was first invented by ASB and Saatchi & Saatchi. 4DESIGN then became involved to develop, prototype and bring Clever Kash closer to market.
My role involved CAD modelling Saatchi & Saatchi’s character design and detailing it for manufacture alongside the 4DESIGN team. The product design needed to be consistent with the original character design, yet manufacturable. Clever Kash’s organic form is created using T-Splines for Rhino 3D.
