Quasarborn | A Pill Hard to Swallow | Album Art

Serbian metalheads Quasarborn have just released their new album entitled A Pill Hard to Swallow. The album is available on all streaming platforms, CDs, and for free download via BandCamp. A Pill Hard to Swallow represents a step away from Quasarborn’s technical thrash metal style and showcases their tendency to "think outside the box" and defy the boundaries of traditional metal genres.

Luka Matković states:
We’ve worked on this release for a very long time. Some songs date back to 2016, from the time we started recording our debut. We knew it was going to be somewhat different, and we really wanted to break away from all the almost-religious musical rules that might have shackled us in the past. I don’t think you can put a genre label on this album other than just "metal", and we’re very proud of that. I think songs like Identity Catharsis, Stalemate with Suicide and Clouds might have come as a little shock to some people who were familiar with our style, but most of our fans embraced our evolution as a band. It’s just us as musicians, playing what we feel. You might even say this is the first "real" Quasarborn record, while "The Odyssey to Room 101" was more like a transition between our musiciansip in Space Eater [Serbian legendary old school thrash metal band in which Luka, Tihi and Đorđe used to play] and what was yet to come.

The album was produced by the band’s frontman Luka Matković, and the cover art & all graphics and design were done by the band’s drummer, Marko Danilović Tihi.
