The Bridges Project

This is a study of the most iconic landmark Newcastle posesses. It is recognisable all over the world, I have added in lots of well known local companies and hope it celebrates the northeast. I wanted it to have a possitive feel much like an old railway tourism poster. Each bridge is shown in this unique line up and they are also avialable as separate images showing their entire span of the tyne. The detail in such that the image is best seen  at a large scale and I have these printed at 42" X 22" Available from The North East Art Collective in Eldon Garden,  and keithopieart.com this can be printed any size without loss of detail. I was delighted to get a request from East Coast Trains to supply large prints for their new ticket office in central station.

Glass transfer for office partition. can be blown up to any size as this is vector art
I did think this day and age that I could just go on line and find plenty vector vehicles and people to simply download and add to this scene but I was overly confident in this as there were non I found suitable or had the detail I wanted. so I created my own choosing local firms as the source of inspiration to keep the scene true.
Each bridge was done as a separate file and I had to take plenty of reference shots each week to get them looking right.
