For the purpose of this course, we were tasked to take certain prompt words, design and illustrate designs with a story behind it using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Word: Dance
Inspired by actress, Anna May Wong, who was one of the first ever asian actress in US films. These are 3 different illustrations of Anna May dancing at a party.

Word: Umbrella
This illustration represented the demons in the mind, and how an alcoholic uses a drink to shelter and protect them from their own thoughts and mind. The umbrella represents the protection from the drops of sadness, as she drank her cocktail to escape.

Word: Teapot
Depicting a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in an elaborate garden. The Dragons behind represent the unity of two people, as they bow down to their elders to show respect and receive blessings on their new journey together.
