In 2019 it becomes 100 years since Dutch women are given the right to vote. In honour of this very first century of equal political participation, KesselsKramer created a video for WOMEN Inc. to launch on International Women’s Day, March 8th. KesselsKramer celebrates Dutch women’s suffrage with cake – a whole lot of cake – and throws in the notion that 100 years, although it may look like many candles on a birthday cake, is actually an awfully short period of female significance in human history.

So let’s go, ladies. We’re well on our way, but definitely not there yet!
