adi Group Panamera Livery Design

In November 2018 I was commissioned to design a livery for a Porsche Panamera 4 for adi Group. Here's a look behind the scenes!
There were a few major brand elements that needed to be implemented. These were the company mascot, logo, and the Martini-inspired stripes shown below.
DESIGN ELEMENTS
For this project it was quite clear from the beginning the overall look the client was looking for so only one initial concept was necessary. The most notable change was the primary color. The first concept was mostly black while the final design contains much more white.
Additionally there were some smaller edits directed towards fine-tuning how the logo transitions into the rest of the livery.
VERSION 1 > VERSION 2 > FINAL
At the time of creation, there were some great base photos on the online Porsche Configurator for visualization. Online configurators can be a great resource, as in this scenario I could choose the specific options the car needed, such as wheels and trim packages, and select any color.

This livery was not going to be brought into the real world as a wrap but instead printed on a 50cm x 70cm canvas, so additional angles and a vector "blueprint" file(s) were not necessary. However, the final image quality needed to be very high. I resized the original photos from the configurator using Photoshop Preserve Details 2.0 upscaling from 1200 pixels wide to around 8000 pixels!
The car, ground, and cloud/smoke backdrop are actually three separate images that were edited and combined to create the end result you see here.
