Theory Objects workshop by Joshua Trees (Royal College of Art, London, UK)

Main object of the workshop: to create an object (image, video, sculpture, symbol, etc.) that could be distributed, edited, morphed and live on without the help of its original creator. In general, the object has to become something similar to a 'meme' or have its characteristics and potential of becoming a viral thing.

Idea: To create animal health awareness by using an internet culture reference - chonk (a term for a fat cat that originated on the internet) and a combination of dark humor and cuteness.

Result: A group of cute fat cat illustrations, that use the 'meme' format and composition along side some catchy phrases.
