for this project we explored a future of human evolution and tried to make separate cryptic texts align to form one narrative about evolution. The original idea is based on an idea for a video game that Zachary wanted to make in the future about humanoid species at war with each other utilizing abilities they gained through evolution. The excerpts read throughout each part followed different time periods which were about the discovery of these species. Originally Zachary had made most of it himself due to miscommunication, but me (Eliseo) and Victoria managed to jump in and help out with Zach’s vision. Victoria provides detailed art pieces which fit the atmosphere of the passages. Eliseo then edited the videos to add static errors to make them longer and immerse the viewer which was meant to immerse them in a museum type environment which would have the excerpts play in recordings and have a narrator.
