Nestled within the abandoned structure of the tobacco warehouse and the Manhattan and Brooklyn overpasses sits the new Brooklyn Film Forum. The Forum is responsible for both the production and exhibition of film. Public and private programming are intertwined throughout the building encouraging interaction between the different users. Large production studios, workshops, editing and screening rooms along with apartments and living space for artists in residence exists alongside cafe and gallery space, meeting rooms, libraries and computer labs. Three theaters ranging from 150-300 seats are dispersed amongst the building displaying film productions and vistas of the city.
