design guidelines are guidelines in life.
1 - Try everything once
Don't be limited by what you know, look for new experiences, get your hands dirty, take risks, travel, lose yourself and find yourself. Get out of your comfort zone, it is very easy to learn and put into practice what we have learned but it is necessary to take risks to grow and to thrive.
2 - Organize your time
Your time is precious, do not waste it in trivialities. Define your goals, organize them and turn them into a reality. Realize your limit - sometimes wasting 30 minutes thinking about nothing, is more valuable than 3 hours trying to get somewhere.
3 - Question yourself frequently
Most of the times, certainty can easily lead to error. Doubt will lead to further research and get you closer to the right path. The more you deepen your doubts, more valuable are the things you will uncover. Surround yourself with people you like and never be embarrassed to ask for help.
4 - Believe in yourself
Be yourself, trust and don’t give up. You weren't put into this world to prove anything to anyone, learn to apologize, to acknowledge mistakes, and take compliments. Don't be afraid to express yourself, stand behind your point of view and accept when you are wrong.
5 - Get inspired by everything
Don't choose where to focus your attention, everything has potential to be interesting and influential. Not everything will turn out to be as such, but the more you absorb, more chances you will have to find something useful and inspiring. Look at everything, discard nothing.
6 – Worry about details
Everything is related to everything, think it through and you will make a difference. The details will take you to explore and uncover all you can about what interests you. Do not hesitate in doing research, you never know where it might take you.
7 – Share your mind
Share opinions, ideas, thoughts, and let others share their experiences with you. Everyone in your life has different ways of seeing and thinking, listening to them will only make you more complete. It is amazing how an exchange of ideas can totally change your path, taking you further.
8 – Follow your dreams
Do what you love and if you don't, change it. Don't give up on pursuing your dreams, regret is much worse than failure. Life is about the people you know and about what you create with them, so go out and start creating.
