Protect our Playgrounds Part 3

7x World Champion, and public lands advocate, Rebecca Rusch, in her continued quest to push herself physically and mentally, is taking action to help raise awareness to protect our public lands. Rebecca, along with Steve "DOOM" Fassbinder, photographer and renown adventurer, set out for a 6 day expedition through Utah's remarkable Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments with the intent to explore the outdoors and inspire people to protect our lands. Follow them in this 3 part mini-documentary series as they explore the scenic and vast terrain of southern Utah through self-supported activities such as; biking, climbing, canyoneering, and rafting.
In part 3 Rebecca and Doom get even deeper into the cultural significance of these public deserts and talk about the reality of political actions that have removed protection from so many of these areas. While on a 2 day canyoneering/backpacking expedition down Davis Canyon they find many artifacts left from Native Americans over the centuries. They discover that there is so much uncovered history still hidden all over Utah desert and discuss the importance of their findings.
