In a class effort to create a zene that was both abstract and had a common theme, each participant was given a line from a song to design zene spreads. I was first tasked with creating two zene spreads relating to the the line “I’m still waiting here.” In response, I kept a time log of all the times I found myself waiting in my own life over the course of the week. I translated this into two spreads with the total wait time in hours, minutes, and seconds, surrounded by a compilation of waiting imagery and a cascading hour glass of numbers. The cover was a class effort in abstract logos made for our lyrics.
