“Transit umbra lux permanet”
Music animation, 00:15:47. Dali Wu. 2019.

“Full many a gem of purest ray serene,
The dark unfathomed caves of ocean bear:
Full many a flower is born to blush unseen,
And waste its sweetness on the desert air.”  Thomas Gray, elegy written in churchyard.

“And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.”  Mark 8:31. King James Bible.

Shadows passes, but the light remains.

A glimpse of light as symbol of the beginning of life, sails across the vast emptiness of the sky, suddenly the heaven and the  earth split, a bitter, profound and primitive sound of flute reveals all manifestations of nature: as the god of wisdom Gaṇeśa who breaks obstacles, surfaces as he dances along with the goddess, the phantasmagoric beasts appears and disappears ... A group of abstract and figurative patterns brings out a life hymn. After the joy, it is followed by scenes of a sinister hell, the clouds are so dense, the crisis is raging, and the disaster is about to ruin the universe. A mandala that presents the trueness of the universe, enlightening in the middle of a withered desert. The human baby squats softly under the pattern, shivering. But it grows a pair of giant wings that can swallow the world. Later, a desolate and confused girl, finally recognizes the other in her self-regard reflection. She smiles and closes her eyes, immersing in the affectionate kiss with her beloved.

This film was first released at the Stella musica festival.
