DSGD 104 Project 1 : Content Map (Net Neutrality)

Goal: On the subject of "Journalism and Truth," pick a topic that you are passionate about and create a content map around it.

Net Neutrality has been a divisive and somewhat confusing topic, especially during the current administration. Put simply, Net Neutrality is the principle that Internet Service Providers (ISP's) should enable access to any and all content on the internet without favoring or blocking others. Without Net Neutrality, ISP's will legally have the power to control your internet experience. Meaning they can restrict access to websites they find unfavorable and only give us access to what they want us to see. ISP's would also be able to charge us more for certain content, create fast/slow lanes for certain websites, and manipulate our data how they see fit.

The content map is organized in four distinct sections which are "Journalism," "Truth," "Net Neutrality," and "Perception." Starting from any section on the map, you will be guided along a path. Each topic and sub-topic is defined to give us a general understanding of the issue. The content map also illustrates how all threads are connected in some manner.
