Final Project
ANTIPOP Magazine is a collection of articles that highlight noteworthy musical artists in the underground music scene. The artists featured have consistently defied expectations and do what they believe is true to them. This issue features self-proclaimed boy-band Brockhampton, 17-year old Billie Eilish, and English solo artist, Rex Orange County. Find out what makes these genre-bending artists one of a kind.

This idea was inspired by a music playlist on Spotify featuring these three artists. I wanted a vibrant and energetic magazine that used electric colors (hence the consistent use of pink, blue, orange, and yellow). I used InDesign for the first time with this project, and while the program was difficult to use at first, I grew more comfortable with the tool as I moved along with the project. The experience was an exciting one because of the creative freedom that I was given, and I was able to combine music and design— two passions of mine.
How do you incorporate an ad for almond milk into a music magazine? Turn it into a rockstar, of course!
