FNSS “KORGAN” is a hybrid, amphibious, manned and remotely-controlled
(in case of need) Military Land Vehicle with ballistic protection and modularity which enables the vehicle to change its mission capabilities whenever required.

FNSS “KORGAN”; hibrit, insanlı ve ihtiyaç halinde uzaktan komuta edilebilen, balistik korumaya sahip, görev ve yetenekleri modüler olarak değişebilen, amfibik, yenilikçi bir askeri kara aracı konsept tasarımıdır. “Korgan” kelimesi Göktürkçe’de “korunaklı yer, kale” anlamına gelmektedir ve bu kavramsal tasarıma ilham kaynağı olmuştur. FNSS KORGAN, üstün performanslı bir askeri muharebe aracı olmasının yanı sıra 14 kişilik bir personel taşıyıcı, komuta kontrol merkezi, ambulans, itfaiye, mühimmat ve sıvı/yakıt taşıyıcıdır; aynı zamanda azami ölçülerdeki boyutları sayesinde son derece modüler iç hacim sunmaktadır. 8x8 akıllı çekiş sistemi, dizel-elektrik hibrit güç ünitesi ve iki adet değiştirilebilen pili sayesinde her türlü arazi koşulunda yüksek performans sergiler ve yakıt tasarrufu sağlar. Gövde yapısı en idael şekilde planlanmış ve pratiklik ön planda tutulmuştur. Elektrik kumandalı iki parçalı yan martı kapıları ile arka kapıdaki rampa askeri personele büyük kolaylık ve hız sağlamaktadır. Sihirli halı (magic carpet) bağımsız süspansiyon sistemi, havasız lastikleri (tweel), ön ve arka büyük yaklaşma açıları KORGAN’a zorlu arazi koşullarında performans konusunda sayısız avantajlar katmaktadır. Ön kaputta ayrı bölmelerde yer alan iki adet drone ve arka pil bölümünde temassız şarj yerinde saklanan saldırı/keşif robotu sayesinde çevre taraması güvenli şekilde yapılarak muhtemel tehditler önceden önlenebilmektedir. Ayrıca aracın ön tavan bölümünde bulunan 360° kamerası ve köşelerdeki Lidar sistemleri yardımıyla uzaktan kumanda edilerek ya da tamamen otonom olarak insansız görevleri kendi başına icra edebilmektedir.

"Korgan" word means "protected place, castle" in the old Turkic language and it has given the inspiration to this concept design. Besides being a superior military combat vehicle, FNSS KORGAN is also a 14-personnel carrier, a command control base, an ambulance, a fire-fighter, an ammunition and a liquid/fuel carrier; it also provides the largest interior space possible for many different modularity solutions. Thanks to its intelligent 8x8 traction control system, diesel-electric hybrid power unit and easily swappable two battery modules, it shows utmost performance on all terrains. Its body and layout concept were planned ideally to maximize the practicality. Electric-controlled two-piece side gullwing doors and rear entrance door with its retractable ramp provide convenience and speed for military personnel. Independent (magic-carpet) suspension system, airless "tweel" tires, supreme approach angles give KORGAN countless performance advantages in tough terrain conditions. Thanks to its two flying drones in separate storage spaces in under front hoods and an assault/detection robot which is located in the rear wireless charging storage, vehicle's surrounding area can be pre-detected to avoid possible threats. Furthermore, with the aid of retractable 360° top-front camera and lidar sensors on each corners, the vehicle can be remote controlled or it can perform unmanned missions all autonomously.
