Vice Media is one of the world’s leading digital media companies producing and publishing digital content for youth and young-adult audiences. When I joined the Vice Tech team the company had over 16+ verticals published in over 38 countries and translated into more than 50 different languages operating with it’s own unique look and feel as well as CMS. This caused the company strain whenever it needed to launch new features, updates, and verticals. This also effected the overall brand awareness of the Vice Media Network.
Along with the Director of UX and Lead Product Designer I assisted in developing the unified design system used today across the Vice Media network, relaunched the network of sites under the unified platform, and continued to develop and launch new features for our readers.

A unified design system was created that could easily be translated across the entire network. This allowed our internal teams as well as external partners to design and launch new verticals in a much quicker more efficient workflow.
