The Pittsburg State University Campus Recreation held a t-shirt contest for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. This shirt was created for the Intramural Sports division of the Campus Recreation Center. It was to include the school's brand colors, upcoming school year, and the words Intramural Champion. The t-shirt was only to have a design on one side either front or back.
To be able to use this design I had to discuss using the "Vintage Issue 1978 Gorilla" with the Pittsburg State University Marketing Department. Once I got permission, I created the design for the t-shirt in Adobe Illustrator. When I submitted the design for the contest, I didn't want to just have the design on a blank art board so I created the mock ups using Adobe Photoshop to show them what the shirt would really look like.
