Reading is a passion of mine, something which has shaped my life since childhood. I was therefore committed to producing a 'gadget' that would appeal to kids to help them read more and bring forward a creative and imaginative mindset. 

Designing the GoBook Imagine (a colour, touch-screen kids eBook Reader) didn't just involve the hardware, child-friendly skeuomorphic UX / UI and the full user experience, but also involved creating 50 colourful children's eBooks (from baby flash cards, learn-to-read, animated stories to classic books for all ages). I accompanied this with an imaginative advertising campaign (including the "a-read-a-day" programme) and beautiful imagery to engage and delight children and their parents. 

The product was very well received by users and the public; and with a bit of luck helped some children slip into a lifetime of enjoying reading.
