DOMOTIC is a french electronic music artist.
Through his works, DOMOTIC deals with various universes, experimental and contemplative experiences.
Here, Domotic designs a musical loop that he declines into 5 pieces.
This contemplative, spatial and aquatic universe immerses us in electronica.
We worked with Domotic in order to think about a communication campaign involving:
a clip, logotypes, website, vinyl, cassette, tour posters and social networks.
The creative process begins with video experiments. Through chemical reactions between different kinds of liquids (soap, milk, oil...), we created many images and animations. With these liquids experiments we create the shapes and textures of the Electronica.
After around 30 hours of shooting, we created a video databank made of many textures and colors.
We shot with a 4K camera, an aquarium and a lighting tablet.
To add life into this aquatic universe, we animated micro-organism in loops.

The vinyl art represents this concept of transition to the Electronica with a door at the center of the cover.
Then, you're invited to enter this unique universe by opening the box.
At the center of the disc, a phenakistiscope creates an illusion of animation that echoes the animation of the micro-organisms.
AUDIOTAPEThe nostalgic atmosphere of Domotic works also includes objects of collection such as audiotapes.
POSTERThe poster is the main visual of the EP, sold during Domotic's tours.
STICKER & BUSINESS CARDThe business card use the phenakistiscope as shown in the disc.
LOGOSFollowing the brand identity of Thalassouille, reflections around Domotic's logo are engaged. With Marvin Font, the nostalgic and retro vibes of the musician are displayed. The font stay minimalist and readable when used with aquatic visuals.
