Chalk It Up was created in response to an unpleasant experience I had with buying sticks of chalk. There are also only about two different kinds of chalk packaging variations at craft and office supply stores, none of which are very creative. I wanted to bring a playful, sustainable and user friendly experience to my design. Therefore, my chalk packaging is made out of chalk board material, making it a surface to create little works of art. These boxes are meant to be kept, re-used, and passed on. The chalk itself is held through a triangular prism to prevent the pieces from breaking easily.
