These Arabic geometric letterforms were created by abstracting the following Arabic letters in their independent forms, respectively: the Saadh (ص), the Taa' (ط), the Thaa' (ظ), the 'Ayn (ع) and the Qaaf (ق). A couple of them were also influenced by the shapes of particular objects or creatures. The line as an element of design is used in tandem with shape.
