What can be simpler than a smart device where you 'just talk'!
To maintain a commercially viable product, cost efficiencies in the design were paramount. Using a rationalised BOM and standardised components usually found in smartphones, smartwatches (small round screen) and walkie-talkies cost savings could be leveraged, while creating a beautiful and iconic design.
Personality is everything, and given the success of Nokia's pop on phone covers in the 1990s, it was essential to give the NFA phone some 'pop'! A new type of phone, with a new type of look, for those who dare to be different.
