Axolotl
Modeled in Blender 2.8, rendered in Blender EEVEE (2.8 BETA), textures in Substance Painter.
Made a simple model in Blender of an axolotl. The gills are made from a hair particle system. The fire is made by using an emitter particle system to be able to control when the fire starts and stops. I put in a wind force field to control the direction and added the smoke simulation to the particle system. Background HDRI from Substance Painter.
