Form Theory
Here we composed one black and white study of the inherent and dynamic forces of a rectangle using shape, point and line. Within the rectangle, a 1/2 inch grid structure and the use of proportion were incorporated. Ideas such as alignment, similarity, grouping, position, hierarchy and figure/ground reversal were all considered in the final study, shown on the left.
