This project was for my digital illustration class. In this project we had to make an original paper doll with three different outfits. 

My first few initial ideas were to make a paper doll of myself. As I started to pursue that I decided to be a little more original with my idea. I'm a big fan of the 70s culture, so I decided to make a hippie.

To start out I sketched out a few ideas. After getting a solid idea I used my sketch as reference (it was a really rough sketch) and started making Huckleberry in adobe illustrator. I used the pen tool exclusively for this project. When making the outfits and features of Huckleberry I tried to give him a fairly stereotypical look.

As this year has progressed I've become very comfortable with the pen tool. At the beginning of the semester I was almost illiterate with the pen tool. Now I'm confident in my ability to use the pen tool to make what I please.
