Night Riots Poster

You know where the party is when you see the neon lights. It’s the same with a band like Night Riots. The band Night Riots may someday come to The Fillmore in Philadelphia and when they do, they already have a poster to promote their show. The poster was created to capture the essence of the band's sound: one of sensual touch and exciting nightlife.

The name of the band was shown in a new light by taking the structure of the bands logo and deconstructing it. Hand done type was chosen to give the poster a unique look that still represented the bands style. The environment and emotions that the bands aesthetic portraits is in the glowing type and intimate photography. With two large focus areas on the poster, the girl and the type, care was taken into the darks, lights, and type weight in order to balance each side.
