The Cube - Museum Branding

"The Cube" is a museum for art made during Cubism, which was a popular art style in the early 20th century.

The logo for "The Cube" is inspired by the geometric shapes used during this period. Similarly, the color palette chosen for the overall branding of the museum was influenced by several pieces found while researching Cubism. Furthermore, the blue palette is also significant to Cubism because between 1901-1904, Picasso (a well-known artist during this period) predominantly used shades of blue in his work, which was later known as "Picasso's Blue Period."

The typeface chosen for "The Cube's" branding is a geometric san-serif font, which matches the geometric shapes used during this art period.
