A Fruits' Tragedy. Act Three.

A FRUITS' TRAGEDY
Act Three.
the Conclusion of Vengeance

That winter, Karhu the Black Bear came to the town after hearing about the death of Bulb. Karhu and Apple used to be close brothers who was educated by master Bulb. When they grew up, the seemlingly smart and cheerful Apple fell in love with Orange and decided to spend his life in the town, while quiet Karhu set on a journey to find his path of life. The last time Karhu saw Apple was Apple's wedding.

No one could predict that Karhu has become the head of a gang which controlled the underground world of capital city. He had become powerful beyond measure of anybody in this town. Now he came back, sad, angry and frustated. He had heard things.

It was said that Apple went crazy because of his cheating wife, so he killed everybody who was close to him, even master Bulb. Karhu swore to seek revenge on Apple in front of Bulb's tomb.

Karhu quickly found the place where Apple was hiding.

In the past, Apple has always been the more favored child, as he was a smart and delightful kid. Karhu was more quiet and reserved, and didn’t do as well as Apple did. But despite of all the differences, they were brothers. They knew each other. They knew what the other could think.

The darkness was falling over the place. The two brothers stood staring at each other as if they were enemies preparing for the destiny fight.

'Tell me, why brother? Why?'

Karhu gave Apple the daunting look, as if he wanted to slice him into pieces. Apple knew he wanted to ask him why, yet Karhu could never utter the words.

Both of them knew what Karhu would do.

Karhu sliced one arm of Apple.

Apple collapsed.

He remembered that night by master Bulb.

He fell into sleep at Bulb's place that night. Apple had a nightmare, he saw Orange and Banana again, hand in hand making fun of him. He screamed and shouted in anger. Pulled the knife out of his pocket, he chased them down, and killed them all over again the the dream.

Karhu pushed ahead, striked down Apple into pieces.

To have revenge, to punish Apple or to release him, Karhu never told.

Still did not say a word. Karhu walked away.

The next time he would come back to this town, would be his own funeral.

END.
