I Challenged myself to create a series of portraits that focused on capturing the idea of a person, rather than the technical dimensions and details of their face. To do this, I worked rather quickly, often restricting myself to creating these portraits in only an hour or less. This forced me to focus on capturing the overall essence of the people, and most basic and necessary components of their portrait.
