2018 WORLD CUP WALL CHART: VIZRT PROJECT
Brief: Create a Editable World Cup Wall Chart on VIZ RT for our "WORLD CUP REPORT" SHOW on SkySports news within our Hub Wall
Storyboard/Pitch: A very loose storyboard was needed here as this was quite a generic wall chart. The main look and feel was done during the building process on VIZRT. This had daily tweaks during collaboration process with SkySports Production (Simon Randell/Andrew Antonio). The creative and editorial direction I wanted to go here was it needed to be quickly updated to go to air asap!
This was done by creating the VIZRT template that needed multiple functionality ie: Outline straps (winners group B v Runners-up group A), Highlighted teams, Scores and no scores, also one big thing that I wanted to do was to just type the "TEAM" name and automatically the badge would correspond to that Team name! This was done by getting Chris Flye (Viz RT Script Guru) to write a script which in turn I tweaked for it to work on this particular scene.
