Introduction
Even in the world of magic, the smartphone app can solve a lot of everyday life problems. I have decided to take this product design challenge. Took my time to analyze the problems and come with the solutions for several use cases.
Problem to solve
Arya is a well known for being in a faceless assassins guild. Right now it is pretty hard to find the right face.
Proposed solution
What if we can create an app for the faceless guild, that will make the face selection process easier?
The app can give them easy-to-use solution to find the right face: from the pre-selected faces (like shown on the screen) to the smart search and filtering.
Problem to solve
Playing the game of thrones can be pricy. Daenerys needs some way to earn extra cash.
Proposed solution
She can be the first one to enter the market with the dragon taxi (similar to what Uber does) to make some extra cash. Think yourself, what can be faster than a flying dragon?
Problem to solve
Hodor, oh Hodor, Rest In Peace, you will always be in our hearts. One of the reasons for his his death is the communication problem.
Solution
We live in the age of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other buzz words. I believe, that with the AI help we could have created an app like Siri. It would understand what Hodor says and give him the right answer. We have AI, that understands dogs language, why not create the one for Hodor?
Problem to solve
Iron Bank of Braavos is the richest financial institution in the known world. When you are that big it becomes a little bit harder to manage your debtors.
Solution
We can create a high-tech dashboard for the bank workers that will make it way easier to manage clients. Not only that, the Iron bank can make more money, since the operational costs will be lowered.
Problem to solve
How can anyone understand that the winter is coming? Everything that the Westoros market is offering is too old-fashioned.
Solution
A cross-platform weather app that can tell residents weather forecast.
Conclusion
This was a fun and very inspiring experience for me. I’ve spent the whole week doing this project after regular work. For sure I will be doing these Product Design marathons in the future as well. Hope you like the project, hit the like button and follow me if you like my works.
